Ozark Nature Mentoring Initiative

We are excited to announce that OTS and partners have been awarded the EPA’s Environmental Education Regional Grant to begin this September, 2011!

The EPA and the Ozark Tracker Society (OTS) have joined with Arkansas State Parks, The Greenway of the Cherokee Ozarks, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service to create the Ozark Nature Mentoring Initiative (ONMI). OTS and partners received a grant from the EPA’s Environmental Education Regional Grants Program to bring cutting-edge training in Nature Mentoring to the AR, OK, and MO region. Starting this September, the grant will provide six, three-day Coyote Mentoring workshops in the region, culminating in a week-long Art of Mentoring Workshop with Jon Young.
