Come join us for a dynamic and fun-filled weekend while we explore the art of learning and teaching bird language.  This workshop will focus on learning the basics of interpreting the language of the birds as well as how to develop a bird language group in your area.

An ancient art mastered by our ancestors, bird language enables us to decipher movement patterns of wild animals, locate the presence of danger or opportunity and learn how to blend and flow as a part of our natural surroundings.

These skills will dramatically increase your close encounters with wildlife, make you virtually invisible in the forest and powerfully deepen your connection to the natural world.  By learning how elusive wild animals utilize this alarm system to avoid danger you will unlock your ancestral patterns of diminishing your disturbance patterns while dramatically increasing your overall awareness.

Over the years we have realized that bird language is best learned in groups of people.  We will cover the basics of how to organize, facilitate and debrief group bird sits as depicted in the newly released Bird Language DVD.

This is a unique opportunity to learn this art, and how to mentor others in these skills, by a highly experienced instructor and author of What the Robin Knows: How Birds Reveal the Secrets of the Natural World, Jon Young.  Jon learned the ancient art of bird language from his mentor and has since been sharing it for more than twenty-five years.
